Phish in Relix (Again)

I remember reading the Phish issue of Relix when the band broke-up and I remember thinking that everything, indeed, seemed so final. The writing that Mike Gordon did regarding the use of his secret equipment seemed as symbolic as Trey giving away the trampolines during Coventry — it just seemed like the band really was moving on past all of this.

But it looks like they’ll be on the next issue of Relix; Phish Coventry has the cover.

Given the article on Passion Pit today regarding their geekiness status and the long-held status that is the geekiest band on the planet, I’m thinking I need to just call anything I do musically as “geek rock” and I think I may be able to solidify a minor following on that characteristic alone.
