Pitchfork Music Festival Three-Day Passes Sell Out

I’m not surprised at all to see that the Pitchfork Music Festival seems to be selling their cheap-ass passes really quickly this year.

As of right now, three-day passes for the 2008 Pitchfork Music Festival are no longer available. Those suckers sold out! [Pitchfork]

For those of you in the city that didn’t get tickets to this yet, you’ll probably miss out a a few cool things (!!!, , ) and few other things that make music festivals worth missing sometimes (shitty sound, overcrowding, port-o-pottys). You gotta take the good with the bad, I guess.

    aaah the king of the hipsters, the onion headline i would like to see is

    ” Vice Magazine and Pitchfork Music deliver final crippling blow to genre known as Jambands”

    even jambase has been heavily shying away from jamband pigeon hole, despite their name which hints otherwise. I will never fully understand the hipster mindset though I have been surrounded by them in NYC and many of my friends have gone to the darkside. Though people who only listen to jambands are just as bad.

    i really dont have anything personal against pitchfork i like them and hipsters too, Velvet Underground is the best hipster band of all time and needs more respect from these neo hipsters, gotta get in touch with their roots.

    Pitchfork gets lots of hate because they’re kind of a bunch of snobby hipsters, but all in all, they’re on top of what’s going on in music. I wish I was going to make it to this fest, it’s got a lot going for it.
