Weekly Roundup

The open road

Just because I’m on the road doesn’t mean that I can’t stop by the site and drop a quick post to get us ready for the week. I’m in Glenwood Springs, CO right now and hoping to make it to Arches National Park in Utah by around lunch time, then it’s onto Las Vegas for dinner time. Only dinner, I swear.

While you guys watch me Twitter and Flickr my way through this road trip, much more important live music stuff has been happening. Coachella just finished up last night, and there have been more than a few blog posts highlighting the fact that Prince covered Radiohead’s “Creep” as part of his Saturday headlining spot. Here’s the video, complete with the ooh-ooh’s and aaah-aaah’s at the end of the song to break it down a bit. He sure knows how to pander to this audience.

We’ll try to round up some other stuff from the fest, and enjoy our roundup of the posts we did last week in the meantime.

  • Tea Leaf Green 4.17.08 | Beer, Sweat, and Rock’n'Roll

  • Podcast #060 | Animal Collective
