Super Bowl Weekly Roundup

Last week was a slow one for us here on the site, but it’s definitely going to be picking up more this week. What can I say — I had a little time away from the computer, which was nice, and then everyone took a break for the Super Bowl. I hardly watched the game, except just to see if the Patriots would hold onto their undefeated season. I guess we all know how that turned out. How was Petty, by the way?

Here’s the past week from Live Music Blog:

  • The Whigs Rock Letterman
Pretty solid performance by the Whigs on Letterman last night. And since I’m still listening to this track, I figured I might as well continue to fluff this band a little more.
  • Langerado 2008 Preview
The 2008 festival season will be kicking off in less than two months with what was once known as “Junior Bonnaroo” or “Bonnaroo Light”. These derogatory swipes lost their meaning this year because the Langerado Music Festival has arrived…
  • The Union Forever
Intrigued by the recent successful collaboration between the Moldy Peaches and the film Juno, I wondered if this was an example of the union of music and film or if this was evil corporate synergy at its deceiving worst. It…
