2007 Austin City Limits Music Festival | Partial Lineup Announced, Rumors

There were 15 artists revealed for the 2007 Austin City Limits Music Festival lineup (through a fan scavenger hunt in the form of a crossword puzzle). So far, simply put — sweet.

The annual festival is set for September 14-16 in Austin, TX. I’ve got to get down there for this…

I was just down in Austin for SXSW 2007 and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I truly felt as if I could come right back to the city immediatley after I left and I vowed to make the ACL Fest a reality at some point in the near future.     the source that posted that rumored list said that someone close to the organization of ACL counted 69 bands from that rumored list that were on the lineup, and not included in that 69 were bob dylan, stevie wonder, and neil young… so take it with a grain of salt…i think it has some big names added in there to throw people off:)

    though 69 of those bands would still be a killer lineup, no matter how you slice it

    It wasn’t the same person who posted that list and who claimed to have made contact with the C3 VP.

    You should definitely come to ACL, Justin. It’s an amazing festival

    I’ve done a couple of ACL’s – It’s a great time, personally I like Jazzfest better. It’s just two damn hot is Austin that time of year.

    Some years it has been extremely hot, some years it has been cool. It’s hard to predict. One year there was a light misting rain 2/3 days. Ah the memories.
