Starscape Festival 2007 | Disco Biscuits, RJD2, Brazilian Girls, and More

I previously mentioned that the Disco Biscuits would be headlining the Starscape Festival, a dance-oriented music event that takes place Saturday, June 9th, (from 2PM until 6AM!) in Ft. Armistead Park, Baltimore. The full Starscape lineup has now been officially announced and includes a slew of DJs and bands that run the gamut from electronic rock to hip-hop and dance. Headliners include the Disco Biscuits, RJD2, Brazilian Girls, the Beatnuts, and a ton of DJs I have no business trying to describe. Looks like a dance party to me!

Ok, I have been reading this blog pretty much every day since I discovered it a few months ago. Would someone just tell me what “after the jump” means?

Not to be an ass at all — but I’m continually surprised by people that need to ask us for a definition when you’re always a simple Google search away…

    After the Jump means…

“It’s a holdover from newspaper lingo. The ‘jump’ in a newspaper article is the point where the article is interrupted on one page and continued at that point on another page, with a notation of where to go to continue the article. They serve the same purpose: to conserve “front page” space (or inside page space, though that’s less common) for as much of as many articles as possible.”

On The Main Stage, it doesent mention Earthtone, who by the way got cut off early for no explained reason in the middle of a face melting jam, Fast Forward. I was highly disspaointed.
