So moe. is currently doing its annual snoe.down festival up in Lake Placid, New York. Although I’m not the biggest moe. fan, I have a lot of respect for this band’s ability to rile up a crowd, rock out a fun show, and build a successful independent business. Snoe.down is a really novel idea for a music festival: mixing the upstate NY ski-resort vibe with a full slate of jam-heavy concerts sets is just kinda cool. Plus, they’ve really brought together some quality talent to bulk up the line-up and latenight sets, so I’m sure this will be a solid festival.

Anybody there this weekend? We’d love to get some quick notes, reviews, videos, whatever. Send ‘em if you got ‘em.

In the meantime, here are a couple classic moe. tunes from back in ’05 at the Roseland Ballroom, courtesy of Nugs.net:

excellent choice of mp3s. That show was AWESOME…the opening rebulbula was sick. So glad I was able to get a ticket out front of the roseland before that show.

I think I’ve written more fluffer positives about that Treymoe.deski show than anyone on the Internet. That was one of the best nights of music I’ve seen, maybe ever.

And that Plane Crash also tells me that moe. would be the best band in the country if they had a talented keyboardist on a full-time basis.

We drove down from Canada for the Friday night show. AWESOME. I’m now hooked on snoe.down for as long as it stays running.
