Bonnaroo 2007 | Lineup Announcement on Feb. 14

by -

I’ve gotten some good emails over the past few days that might point us to why we were just told that the Bonnaroo artist announcement got pushed back to Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.

INITIAL ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT ON FEB 14

The initial artist announcement for this summer’s Bonnaroo Music Festival will be on Wednesday, February 14th. This announcement will include an initial lineup of artists, as well as ticket on-sale information for the festival being held June 14-17, 2007.

For updated info, please visit www.bonnaroo.com.

What I’m hearing now is that Pearl Jam will not be the headliner at this festival anymore despite some very strong rumors that they originally would be. It looks like they’re booked in Poland for the Wednesday before Bonnaroo begins, so…what do you think? Are they going to catch a red-eye back to the states to play Tennessee or do we have an unconfirmed rumor? Could Coachella have trumped the Bonnaroo this year as the go-to fest? Let’s hear your thoughts.

Update: the lineup leaked today, go here for full list of first round artists…

last year i went to the roo just to go for the first time, even though it was a sick lineup. the lineup will matter more for me this year though, but i don’t have any doubts.

i’ve always wanted to go to coachella..but..travel costs, $250 tickets??? plus another 45 to camp..forget all that

so bonnaroo bought the farm huh? that should save them some operating money. im sure they will pass those savings along to the customer, right? i know the huge line-up is a big drawing card for bonnaroo and coachella, but tickets have gotten a little outrageous in my opinion. does the $250 ticket include the convenience fees, handling charges, and shipping cost?

It’s official: No Pearl Jam at Bonnaroo 2007.

They’ll be in Poland on the 13th, Italy on the 15th, and Vienna on the 16th. Don’t think that allows them to ability to high tail it back to the states for the show.

wow this really says something that hasn’t already been posted EVERYWHERE including the pearl jam website for at least a week now. Maybe instead of reading your “good emails” you should try a thing called Google….
