Phish Friday | Fluffer-Nutter
Man, this week flew by…
It’s already Phish Friday around here on Live Music Blog and we’re offering up a small stretch of Phish that I’m certain most fans have already heard before. At least, most fans that would call themselves a collector by any means…
Back in December, 1997, Phish was playing one of the tours of their life. Their Bittersweet Motel rockumentary shares a few glimpses into this storied tour — Trey actually gets quoted as saying something like “No one’s paying attention to us right now, and we’re having one of our best tours yet…” — and one of the shows on the tour was epic by all accounts: December 7, 1997, Ervin J. Nutter Center, Dayton, OH.
This sequence actually opens the show. Ephing Fantastic!
