Friday Open Thread

With the Chicago weather warmer than it should be for this time of year, it’s inevitable that we all start thinking about the summer.

Maybe it’s dreaming about grilling and sipping on Coronas while playing baggo, maybe it’s thinking about your upcoming concert schedule, whatever it is, I’d be interested to hear about it.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST DURING THE SUMMER? A specific music festival? Shorts and birkenstocks? The Cubs?

    No place finer than Chicago in the summer. Conversely, not a lot of places worse in the winter…

    can’t wait for some summer shows to get announced. Northerly Island was quite the treat last year.

    I’ve only been to Chicago twice (both um trips) but loved it both times. Seems like August would be a nice time to be there…

    When does summer start really?

    I’m in Tampa, so I saw WEEN kick some ass under the stars the other night…

    Whats not to enjoy about summer?

    Summer Camp 2006 is going to rock hard. Lollapalooza is going to be nuts. So I’m looking forward to both of them for my live music jones…

    I’m looking forward to a great year in baseball for the Windy City. Seriously, the American League Champs (otherwise/maybe known as the White Sox) and the Cubs–it’s win win (but not literally, of course).

    I’m also looking forward to the super-muggy “Justin you now need to drop you winter pounds” weather. It’s motivating to say the least…

    summercamp, moe. in central park, golfing 3+ times a week, finding shoes, eating brat flavored eggos, losing shoes, fluke fishing off jones inlet, sripe bass fishing while listening to concerts behind jones beach theatre(zachs bay), eating heady organic radishes and tomatoes out of my superheady backyard garden, seeing justin and kT and lukas, overcoming my irrational fear of honey bees, become a semi-major player in the stock market(that one might have to wait till fall), dive-bombing charlie chompers, etc…
