I saw Matmos open and run blips/bleeps for Bjork’s 2001 tour–’twas sweet I tell you…

We can’t tell you everyone who will be performing on this stage just yet, but we are thrilled to reveal party-starting, baile funking DJ/producer Diplo and the first signing to his new Mad Decent label, Brazilian band Bonde Do Role; sample-happy sonic terrorists Matmos (featuring Pitchfork’s own Drew Daniel); collaborator with Beans, DJ/Rupture, and TTC, remixer of Lady Sovereign, Les Georges Leningrad, and Pulseprogramming, and all-around revered Montreal DJ Ghislain Poirier; AACM jazz legends 8 Bold Souls; guitar reconstructionist and Battles member Tyondai Braxton; and ethereal chamber-folkies Tarantula A.D. Our friends at Summer Dance will also present sets by massively acclaimed German techno wizards Ada and Dominik Eulberg.
