Sorry for the lack of any major update yesterday. I was out of the “office” for a bit for a very good reason, one that will hopefully lead to some very good news. Feel free to send me stuff that I might have missed in my half day gone from my feedreader…

I’ve been following Shaun White’s progress for a while from the sidelines. I’m definitely not a skateboarder anymore, but when I got wind years back that some fourteen year old kid could not only rip the hell out of a snowboard halfpipe but also a skateboard halfpipe, I knew he’d eventually win a gold medal and hit the cover of Rolling Stone. I just knew.

Early photos from the 2006 Tibet House Benefit Concert are up at brooklynvegan.
He’s promising more tomorrow, too.

Broken Social Scene will be ditching their scene soon?
It’ll probably sound close, though. I’m just guessing here…

LOL

I’m entirely obsessed with ’ “They Are Night Zombies!! They Are Neighbors!! They Have Come Back From The Dead!! Ahhhh!” even if it is one of the stupidest song names ever published. Click here or read on for a nice live video of the tune…
