Bands to See Before You/They Die

Over at the Chicago Tribune today (thanks Chicagoist), they’re asking the very question that I tend to answer for myself many times a week…

What band / artist do you want to see before you / they die?

Whether or not they’d ever reunite, The Police would be up there on that list for me. How ’bout you?

I managed to just hear oysterhead right after they stopped touring, so that’s high up on my list, also RHCP. For some reason I also have this desire to see The Rolling Stones before I die, though I wish I could see a show from the 60′s/70′s and not the current ones, but I can’t. Hmmm Radiohead also, since they tour soooo rarely, same with Beastie Boys.

Beastie Boys are a treat to see live for sure, especially with Mix Master Mike behind the turntables…

I’ve seen them twice, once following Hello Nasty, once following To The 5 Boroughs–the Hello Nasty show trumped the second time around, but they were both amazing concerts in their own right…

3)Bela Fleck & Tony Trishka duet
    4)Modest Mouse

    Ouch…

Yeah, I almost forgot about Talking Heads.

Reunions are okay to speculate, especially if you consider that all the members are still alive and they recently did their Hall of Fame reunion to play a couple tunes…
