Now Playing: Spork Rock

2005 has been a great year for Justin and music. I’ve seen some really great shows (more on that soon), I’ve picked up some really great albums and downloads that have really extending my musical listening pleasure, and I’ve picked up my interest in some great bands that I might not have otherwise listened to–all in all, really great.

One of those band was Spoon. Man, these guys just have a great sound. I picked up Kill the Moonlight first, even before their latest release this year, Gimme Fiction. I think I’m leaning a little bit harder on this year’s release, but you can sample a live track from both of those albums from Spoon’s recent show at NYC’s Nokia Theater.     If you check out the Gimme Fiction Torrent on torrentspy.com they have the Gimme Fiction Bonus Disc that came with some albums, I don’t know if it came with all of them and I might just be wasting my digital breath lol, but here’s the track listing on the bonus:

    1. Carryout Kids
    2. You Was It
    3. I Summon You (Demo)
    4. Sister Jack (Piano Demo)

    On a side note they also have some Japanese release of Bloc Party-Silent Alarm with bonus tracks, Silent Alarm Remixed and it’s bonus disc, and Of Montreal-Sunlandic’s Twins Bonus EP. But like I said, maybe that all came standard. :)
