Song of the Day: Another View Point Indeed

In one very up-and-coming Chicago jamband scene, Future Rock is starting to turn heads towards the more electronic-based groove rock that seems to be flooding the music scene. It’s a truly innovative sound that lends itself perfectly to jamband fans and ravers alike. I like it, as I’m a huge fan of STS9, Disco Biscuits, Lotus, and many others already.

If you haven’t heard these guys yet, give them a chance next time they roll through your town. I’m expecting them to hit up the festivals a bit harder next year–they need to start moving more nationally to get the attention they deserve.

Until then, enjoy a great selection from last April’s Abbey Pub show in Chicago. I’ll see you at their Thanksgiving Eve bash at Subterranean.
