Song of the Day: Halloween Style
There’s only one possible song we could post up here on this unofficial holiday. So everybody break out your zombie clothes and get ready to do that dance where you swing your arms from side to side. ‘Cause this is Thriller, thriller night.
From the LMB to you, Happy Halloween, everybody.
As a runner-up of sorts, feel free to listen to the 10/30/04 Umphrey’s McGee show at the Aladdin Theater in Portland. This show includes the controversial Halloween medley (which I thought was nothing short of hilarious), songs dedicated to a certain group of people with one thing in common. If you haven’t heard it, musically it’s fantastic, especially the Thriller jam.
Here’s the Halloween medley setlist: Rock and Roll Part II (Gary Glitter) > The Way You Make Me Feel > Smooth Criminal jam > Thriller jam (Michael Jackson) > Cat Scratch Fever (Ted Nugent) > I Believe I Can Fly (R Kelly) > Whole Lotta Shaking Going On (Jerry Lee Lewis) > I Can’t Explain > Baba O’Riley (The Who) > Mike’s Song tease (Phish).
It’s a good one…
