Jamcast #011 – Trey and moe. stuff

I’m psyched for some upcoming shows around the city this week, Trey Anastasio at Northerly Island and Allman Brothers Band w/ moe. at the Rosemont Theater. Both of these shows will probably be very fantastic in their own right, so hope you enjoy this week’s podcast…

Got any ideas or suggestions for the next show? Drop us a line…

Nice to see it more frequent… I’ve been digging most of them. STS9 was a little weird as I didn’t really hear them before (saw TMV instead at Bonnaroo), but I was diggin it after about 20 minutes. Haven’t heard enough moe. to have an opinion of them yet. Any suggestions of shows to try an get off the LMA from them? Keep up the good work man

Man, moe. has been playing for so many years, it’s hard to pinpoint a solid set among others that would be better than others.

I’d say grab something from 2001; it seemed like a good year for them. Also, anything recent really probably wails. Check out the Summercamp (May 2005) shows.

And, STS9 is probably one of my favorite bands. They’re so unbelievably good at what they do. You should definitely download some of their stuff and give it a full listen. If you don’t like electronica sorta stuff, you probably won’t like STS9. But, please try it. For me…
