gromfblog photos

I just wanted to sing some praise for a great blogger who manages to get some really great San Francisco photos, and they’re all for the sharing.

Over on GromfBlog, you can find his photos here. Note: some of the galleries require that you have a Snapfish membership. I’ve always hated this aspect of Snapfish, especially when compared to Flickr (no need for an account to view other photos).

These are the galleries that I’m the happiest with…

Disco Biscuits – Halloween Run 2002
Umphrey’s McGee – Great American Music Hall, San Fran., CA – October 22, 2004 (with Phil Lesh) — Really good shots here…
String Cheese Incident – Auditorium Theater, Chicago, IL – 12/29 – 12/31/03

Overall, great photos! Hope he keeps updating as he goes…

Justin — Hey. Thanks for noticing my pics. Of the three albums you noticed, only the UMG one is any good (IMO). I’m on a digital SLR now and am getting much better results. That snapfish thing is a pain in the ass. I’ve moved to my own hosting (with links to ofoto, which allows public access while still printing good shots). I’ll keep albums coming your way.

I’d like that a lot. I dig the photos you put up. I usually just use Flickr, as it is free and I don’t imagine that people will really want to print my pics.
